Measure non-metallic coatings on magnetic metal, or non-magnetic coatings on non-magnetic metal substrates. The gauge automatically identifies the substrate type, with an optional function to recognise non-magnetic metal coatings on magnetic metal.

Choose from single, continuous or differential measurements, and view maximum, minimum and average readings. The measurement range is 0–1,500 μm, with μm, mil and mm units available.

Useful features for inspection work

Use the LCD backlight and built-in light to help when working in low-light conditions. The YNB-220 has an LED light, while the YNB-220U has a UV light; both models offer automatic shut-off and zero-point, two-point and basic calibration.

The gauge operates between -20°C and 40°C. Switch off the car engine and allow the bodywork to return to normal temperature before measuring; recalibration may be needed when the environment changes.

Choose the package to suit you

Package contents vary. Depending on the selected option, the package may include steel and aluminium plates, films, a rubber case and fabric cover or a gift pouch, a hanging rope, a manual and a retail box.

Requires two AAA batteries, which are not included. A protective film covers the screen and can be removed before use.
